Terms of Use
Last updated 23 October 2026
By using Amen you agree to what follows. If you do not, please uninstall it.
What this app is
An aid to prayer, published by o1ne.ai: the Rosary, the chaplets and devotions included with it, novenas, the daily prayers, a Catholic Bible, the day’s readings and a calendar of what is on. It is offered freely, for personal and parish use, and it is not a substitute for the sacraments or for the guidance of a priest.
What you may do
Use it as much as you like, on your own devices, and share it with anybody who would welcome it. Pray along with the recordings, read the prayers, and keep them on your phone for when you are away from a signal.
What you may not do
Do not redistribute the recordings, texts or images as your own work, sell them, or include them in another app or product. Do not attempt to break into the server, take the prayer library wholesale, or interfere with the app’s working for other people.
Prayers, recordings and images
The prayers themselves belong to the Church and to everybody. The particular recordings, translations, artwork and arrangement in this app are published by o1ne.ai or used with permission, and the terms above apply to them. If you believe something here is used in breach of your rights, write to [email protected] and it will be taken down while the question is looked at.
The Bible is the World English Bible (Catholic edition) and the Douay-Rheims, both in the public domain, served by the Free Use Bible API. The Mass readings and the day’s saint come from the open Catholic Readings API; a saint’s life and picture come from Wikipedia and are credited where they are shown, under its own licence.
Prayers you send us
You are welcome to send a prayer or a novena for the app. Our spiritual advisors read it, and if it is approved it is published in the app for everybody, with no charge and no claim of ownership over the prayer itself. Send only what is yours to send, or what is already free for anybody to pray.
Availability
The app is offered as it is. Prayers you have downloaded will keep working without a connection, but the server, the published library and the events calendar may be unavailable at times, may change, or may be withdrawn. No guarantee is made that the app is free of faults, and o1ne.ai is not liable for any loss arising from its use, to the extent the law allows.
Updates
Updates arrive through Google Play or the App Store in the ordinary way. A copy installed directly, outside a store, checks for a newer version itself and always asks before anything is installed.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top will say when, and continuing to use the app means accepting the version then current.
